Resources and Equipment

From the total of our fleet of more than 20 vessels, we can specifically distinguish certain operational units:

FLOATING STRUCTURE “VELEBIT”

Floating platform VELEBIT is a self-propelled floating unit with a total load capacity of 400 tonnes, which we use as an operating water platform for the construction of hydraulic facilities on waterways.

The vessel VELEBIT has its own motor with a power generating unit of 135 kW. It is equipped with four electric winches, which are used with moorings, anchors and strong metal cables to position the vessel independently to the required location at the construction site. It has lighting for on-the-water activities and night-time spotlights. The control centre of the whole unit is in the deck cabin. The engine room, a handy warehouse and housing facilities for the accommodation of the crew can be found below the deck.

So that it can be used for on-the-water activities and for embedding of crushed stone through the input-output ramps, a self-propelled hydraulic excavator of 35 tonnes, with a prolonged retrieval up to 17 m, can be installed onto the VELEBIT. With the use of special tools on the excavator, the subject system quickly and efficiently executes the debarkation of the crushed stone from the barges, the embedding into the frame of the hydraulic facility, and the production and installation of stone mattresses.

In order to transport the required material on the construction site, barges of 200 and 700 tonnes are a part of the present fleet. The tugging of the barges and the positioning and moving of the fleet is done using a powerful 300 HP motor-powered tugboat.


WATERMASTER Classic III

HIDROGRADNJA from Osijek is, since the year 2003, the only firm in the Republic of Croatia which offers the execution of all types of hydraulic construction works using the special, multipurpose floating dredger WATERMASTER Classic III.

Floating dredger WATERMASTER is a state-of-the-art western technology product (Finland), which is exclusively designed to carry out all activities in the field of hydraulic construction.

Along with a series of comparative advantages, the WATERMASTER replaces several types of classic machines like the self-propelled floating suction dredger, floating excavator, floating crane, water-reclamation machine, underwater cable-laying machine and a floating water pollution control device.

The special feature of the WATERMASTER, unlike all the other floating dredgers, is that by using hydraulic stabilizers it is able to enter the water by itself, without the help of other machines or cranes, and that it can also place itself on its own on a “low-bed” for a land transport.

This feature enables it to be used independently, on a smaller scale and on multiple locations, because road transport and loading and unloading on a particular site does not represent a significant cost to the company nor to the contractor.


FLOATING ELEVATOR “KRAPINA”

is a technical vessel that serves for the reloading of gravel from the barges to the shore onto the landfill. The boat has a sand/gravel reloading device with the following specifications:

  • Gross register tonnes: 321,80 tonnes
  • Capacity: 150 t per hour

SELF-PROPELLED SUCTION DREDGER “PAPUK”

Excavation out of the channel of the waterway, transporting and reloading of sand and gravel to the landfill is done by the PAPUK vessel. The vessel PAPUK is by construction-type and operation mode a self-loading – self-unloading self-propelled suction dredger. This actually means that the PAPUK vessel is excavating and loading the sand into its own loading space, then brings the load on its own and unloads it at the unloading site on the shore.

The self-propelled suction-dredger PAPUK is a boat with the following technical specifications:

  • • Gross register tonnes: 370,30 tonnes
  • • Capacity of loading space: 250 m3
  • • Depth of excavation: 14,0 m

  • • Capacity of loading space: 40 m3
  • • Pump capacity: 500 m3 per hour
  • • Depth of excavation: 7.5 m
